Red Label Sclafani Products

Amazon is delisting Sclafani red logo food products because it lacks a registered trademark making it different from the blue label Sclafani products owned by B&G. It’s an Italian thing where the Sclafani family migrated from Italy in early 1900 to the U.S. and started a food company of imported products from Italy. The family and business grew but there was a dispute and so two Sclafani companies emerged, one blue and the other red labeled. Both red and blue labeled Sclafani product can be found in supermarkets throughout the U.S. no problem, until Amazon decided it was. So the blue label owned by B&G is secure because they got their lawyers to make it so when they bought the company twenty years and lets say the red label Sclafanis let the issue slide unregistered until now.

While the lawyers are working on it expect red label Sclafani product to get delisted from Amazon slowly but surely thereby deriving their customer authentic imported Italian product like the San Marzano tomatoes that the blue label Sclafani can’t offer as all their product is packed in the U.S. Hopefully red label product will get re-instated soon, but we are not counting on it. And so this is why we are quickly statring this webpage.
